Discovering Aliya

When designing the North collection, inspiration came from the vibrant blooms that are brought to life in floral arrangements. I love spending time in floral boutiques, being surrounded by all kinds of rich textures and shapes, and this is what guided the concept for North. The Aliya Earrings are an iconic piece from this collection and pay homage to the interplay of colours that can be found within floral arrangements.

Featuring a line of three different gemstones, the Aliya Earrings represent the unique beauty of not only the jewels themselves, but also the people and stories that have impacted our lives. By combining striking hues of rose, teal and violet, each gemstone is distinct and can be a symbol of someone or something dear to you.

In our case, the earrings were named after my daughter and pay tribute to the bond between a mother and her children. They signify the stories that shaped me as a person, and the moments shared with my children that will hopefully go on to become treasured stories for them.

The Aliya Earrings represent the unique beauty of not only the jewels themselves, but also the people and stories that have impacted our lives.

The gemstones used in the Sapphire version of the Aliya Earrings (pictured above) are a Pink Tourmaline, Teal Sapphire and Amethyst. Apart from being birthstones, these gems also signify love and compassion, truth and harmony, and peace.
